The Girls Track Team finished 2nd in a highly contested Jefferson District Champion ship Wednesday. The following were individual champions: Annie Taylor in the 1600 and 3200; Maggie Kooken in the shot put; and Chance Masloff in the 800. Chance was also a member of the district champion 4x400m relay team of Kelsey Pittman, Olivia Hajek and Caroline Outlaw. The 4x800m relay team of Caroline, Annie Lorenzoni, Kelsey and Olivia also finished first. Second place finishers were Chandler Legard in pole vault; Maggie Kooken in discus; Olivia Hajek in 800 and Lydia Garner in high jump. Third place finishers were the 4x100m team of Deborah Ayres -Brown, Nina Willms, Phoebe DeVito and Maggie Kooken; Katrina in the pole vault; Alice DuCharme in 3200m; and Chance in 1600. Finishing in 4th place were Annie Lorenzoni in the 800m and 1600m and Emily Rayle in the pole vault. 5th place finishers were Deborah Ayres-Brown in the 100m and 200m; Kelsey in the 400m;Katrina in the 100m and 300m hurdles; Sophie Loman in the 3200m run and Jesse Dugan in the 800m. 6th place finishers were Ashley Laubach and Jessika Brenin in the pole vault. The team will compete in the Region II meet next Wednesday. Great job, girls!
