Our first home meet IN SIX YEARS is tomorrow at WAHS, thanks to the advocacy of Friends in getting the track resurfaced. Come on out and cheer on our team! Admission is $5. Friends of WAHS Track is manning a concession tent as well as selling 50-50 raffle tickets. (The winner keeps 50% of the earnings, and Friends keeps 50%).
This year we have had $6,000 in requests and expenses, but have only raised $3,000 so far to pay our assistant coaches, maintain the Old Trail Lindy Bain Loop, purchase the new (used) pole vault pit last summer, and meet the requests for a new discus and shot put throwing cage and new starting blocks. So come out and buy some raffle tickets or donate online on this website!
